Entry #8 - U.S. GOVERNMENT VS APPLE
U.S. GOVERNMENT VS APPLE
Hey everyone!
I recently watched on YouTube the legal dispute between Apple and the United States Department of Justice. I found this video so interesting that today I will break down the essence of this case and we will see what the future holds for us.
Support of Accusations
The US government is concerned about Apple's monopolistic position and believes that Apple is taking the wrong path by preventing fair competition in the technology market. Among a variety of accusations, including preventing app development.
What does Apple Say
Apple claims that its means for such a move are nothing more than innovative means to improve the user experience, without trying to deceive anyone, but the lawsuit could cause the company to be misunderstood and therefore block the Apple's ability to innovate.
The Broader Implications
It has already moved beyond the legal battlefield to become a war of wits where Apple and the US Administration are deciding on future technological revolutions and market imbalances.
This battle is marking a moment that could remain in the environment of big
tech companies. This duel is more than a simple legal fight, but rather a talk
about the future of technology. What do you think about this topic? Drop a

Hi Diego! Thank you for sharing your video with us. I'm not much of a girly who knows the recent news, but this blog captures my attention. Although it can be a solid topic to explain, you did it very well. It was explanatory, easy to read, and straight to the point. Keep up the excellent work!
ReplyDeleteThis is really interesting, and the evidence is compelling. My favorite part of that first video was the argument about exclusivity in the Apple community. I have a group chat with four other friends, and we all have iPhones except for one stubborn guy. We joke about how he is the reason we can't send videos, and the chat gets buggy. But I've always suspected that Apple created this barrier intentionally. I'm curious to see how this turns out for Apple in the long run.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this, Diego.
Relevant and timely topic. This is a good start here but a bit more development in the middle -- your "point" -- is needed still to fully develop this entry and meet the expectations.
