Entry #1: The Universal Language of Music
Hey everyone!! I’m super excited to start off this blog by talking about something that’s a big part of my life: music. For me, music is more than just songs and tunes; it's like a passport to different parts of the world. It lets me experience so many cultures and stories, all from my headphones.
Discovering the World Through Music
What’s really cool about music is how different it is everywhere. Through the beats of rock and the words of rap, I’ve gotten to know places and people I’ve never seen. I love how a song in another language can still make me feel something, even when I don’t understand the words. Why Rock and Rap Rock My World
I’m all about rock and rap music. Bands like Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and artists like Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar, aren’t just great to listen to; they also make me think and feel things deeply. Their music has all sorts of styles mixed in, kind of like how I like my music – a little bit of everything.
Learning the Bass: My New Challenge
I didn’t want to just listen to music; I wanted to make it too. That’s why I started learning the bass guitar. It was tough at first, but now I’m getting the hang of it. Playing music feels like talking in a whole new way, and it’s awesome. (I started playing the popular songs from red hot!!)
Music Gets Me Through
Music’s been with me in good times and bad. It cheers me up, helps me chill, and gets me through tough days. It’s not just background noise; it’s like a friend who’s always there for me. I recently started going to concerts, and what an experience!! I have gone to the concerts of Red Hot, Strokes, Joji and others. If you have the opportunity to go to one, go without hesitation!
Music is My Thing
Music is more than a hobby for me – it’s a big part of who I am. It’s a way to show who I am and what I feel. When life gets boring, music makes it fun and interesting again.
Wrapping Up
Whether it’s a guitar solo, a rap verse, or a song from far away, music brings us all together. It’s a journey that I love, and I think everyone should give it a try.
So, what’s your favorite kind of music? Did you like any songs? Drop a comment! :)
Some music:
Very informative great presentation. Like the enthusiasm can really see your love for music in this blog lots of personality being displayed here.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see Radiohead made it to the top of your list. I might say "In Rainbows" is one of my favorite albums ever. I almost forgot about that old Kendrick Lamar album, mAAd city. Completely takes me back to my senior year of high school.
ReplyDeleteHi Diego I like the way how you present your blog. It grabbed my attention quick. I enjoy listening to music as well so I'll be checking theses songs out soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking your layout on this blog, all the sample music from Spotify gives it a nice touch. I can relate with your passion and love for music, I was following in the same path and even attended an audio recording/producing school to make music a career, though it isn't something I've continued to pursue. The Red Hot Chili Peppers' first album is my all time favorite, but I can say I have a mix of favorite types of music, country being at the top.
ReplyDeleteNice to see another person that likes the Strokes. I swear in Junior High, I didn't know anyone else who liked them, then in high school I met quite a few. The bass guitar was the second instrument I learned. I love bass, it can be difficult when starting out though. Getting a good, consistent tone through fingers is definitely a hurdle. Don't give up! You seem to like a lot of indie rock, have you ever listened to Bloc Party? Their album Silent Alarm is one of my absolute favorites. I highly recommend listening to it.
